Exceed Mad Beast Manual
I am using the Mad Beast chassis to build a simple remotely piloted camera platform. I have installed a camera for the HD video that works amazingly well and video not bad at 1080/60 when bashing it. For Fpv I used a pod similar to the one on my FPV quad here with a 700 line CCD TV camera transmitting real time video to Fatshark goggles which have a built in 5.8gh receiver. Looking for a very rugged pan/tilt pod so i can use a head/tracker in the Fatsharks and have full 360 degree pan coverage with the 90 degree FOV CCD camera. It will have to be rugged and maybe - bearproof??

The 5.8 video system on this quad may just be able to survive the Mad Beast. I can switch them from the quad to the truck in about 5 minutes since everything is modular. I use a voltage regulator and power filter to tap batteries to the correct clean voltage to the camera and VTX. It is WAY too fast for what I want as I will try to avoid rollovers so unlike most of you I am detuning mine to help stay off the roof. I beat hell on this for three days learning what it can and cannot do and nothing broke.
